He previously worked for Bridge News in South America, the Far Eastern Economic Review in Hong Kong, and The Wall Street Journal in Brussels. He has also worked as an editor and speechwriter for various multilateral organizations. He studied philosophy and religion at Dartmouth College, and earned graduate degrees in international development, journalism, and public policy in Europe, Latin America, and the U.S.
He serves on the board of the Center for European Renewal in Amsterdam and the conservative publication, The Dartmouth Review. He is a long-standing member of the Philadelphia Society, the Mont Pelerin Society, and the Institut d’Études Politiques in Liechtenstein. He is currently a Fellow at the Russell Kirk Center for Cultural Renewal and the Abigail Adams Institute.
